*****EMMETT HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS*****
To graduate from Emmett High School the following requirements must be met:

Attend equivalent of eight semesters of high school.

Earn a total of 44 CREDITS. (Beginning with the class of 2006 a total of 46 CREDITS will be required)

Successfully complete the following required course work:

8 credits of English;
-
*6 credits of Math;
-
4 credits of Science;
-
2 credits each of World History, US History, Government, Required P.E.;

1 semester each of *Health I, Adv. Health (Health II), Speech, Economics;

( the 2 credits of Humanities are met by the World History requirement. )

*Beginning with the class of 2004 these graduation changes have been made.
(1) the *Health I requirement has been eliminated.
(2) *Math courses must be passed with a "C-" in order to advance to next level math course.
Beginning with the class of 2004 the State of Idaho exiting standards must be met through the state wide testing program.
